Sometimes we can make prayer requests sound like a cliche, but there truly is nothing more important than prayer when it comes to any ministry. As the Psalmist states,

Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; Unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman keeps awake in vain.

As you make all the other preparations for your trip, make sure you take time as and individual as well as a team to humble yourselves before the Lord, asking Him to create the paths of ministry that you will follow.  Pray that God would make specific opportunities to tell people about our great and wonderful God and Savior. This would be a perfect opportunity to even pray that God would raise up additional people with a passion for serving people in other countries who need to hear and receive the Gospel of Christ.

And He was saying to them, “The harvest if plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore, beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.
